Salberg Concrete Products (Pty) Ltd is a wholly owned family business established in 1972 by Rick and Dave Salberg for the purpose of specializing in the manufacture of precast concrete manholes.

This niche of the market was chosen because it was being neglected by the pipe industry as a nuisance and hence the precast manhole was very seldom used by Contractors.

Salberg changed all that by drawing up a specification (still used today) for standardized components, a plant to manufacture it and specialized lifting equipment for ease of handling.

Research and Development was a cornerstone of Company Policy from the beginning as was quality.

This led to several associated Companies being formed as men of equal entrepreneurial flair asked to share in the Salberg expertise. This led to the formation of: -
